Life of Brian

For the last six years, Brian has been in constant motion in the entertainment industry. His first exposure to the world of professional performance was as a member of the Dauntless faction in the major motion picture: Divergent filmed in 2013. There he had the privilege of being a stand-in and photo double for Theo James and Jai Courtney, as well as a featured extra dozens of times. Throughout his time at ISU Brian remained continually involved in the Chicago film industry; earning spots as a featured extra on shows such as Chicago P.D. and Mind Games. He also appeared in commercials for Exxon Mobil, Wal-Mart and others as well as the web series Undercovers throughout that time. While completing his final year of college, Brian was president of one of the nation’s top collegiate improv troupes: Improv Mafia. He completed his Theater Studies major at Illinois State University, earning his Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in 2015. Once Brian graduated, he quickly completed Second City's Conservatory program- starring in their monthly sketch show. During his tenure at SC Brian continued his involvement in film by starring in several student productions and comedic shorts throughout the Chicago area. Brian also found himself working as a Production Assistant on different commercials, web-series, and feature films. With a passion for all things film related, Brian felt compelled to venture into production. He wrote, directed, and starred in the trailer for Making It, a sketch show created alongside fellow improvisers. That same group of improvisers is now at work on a Mockumentary which follows Brian’s current improv troupe: Part Dog. With Part Dog Theater, Brian has performed many times at venues such as: Second City, IO, Annoyance, Stage 773, Laugh Out Loud, and The Crowd Theater. Brian has advanced his improvisation skills by working as a paid performer at Electric Forest music festival, Weddings, and Murder Mysteries. He is currently improvising for the Murder Mystery Company (American Immersion Theater) and spent several years prior as head of Murder Mysteries at Improv Playhouse, where he is still a touring member of the company. In addition to Murder Mysteries, Improv Playhouse and Part Dog Theater Brian also takes on the solo alter-ego, B-STICKY. As B-Sticky Brian brings an incredible performance as a rapping, beatboxing powerhouse who improvises songs in real time with the use of his looper. Brian’s most recent creative endeavor has been focused on voice over work as an audiobook narrator. Utilizing his professional home recording studio Brian has narrated and produced almost a dozen audiobooks which are currently available for purchase on platforms such as I-tunes and Audible. Right now he is finishing up his biggest audiobook to date, Spiritual Adrenaline written by Tom Shanahan, published by Central Recovery Press. Any and all forms of creativity appeal to Brian. He truly believes everyone has the ability to master the creative arts with persistence and drive. Find Brian at one of his shows in the Chicago! Otherwise, keep your eyes and ears open because you will be seeing more of this unique artist soon!
